How to Get Muscles Fast
A lot of people, especially around this time of year (how are those New Year’s resolutions going?) set out to change their body image. One thing that comes up time and time again is that they want to LOOK lean and muscular, if they’re not actually that strong they don’t really care. The goal of looking lean and muscular is great… if it’s a longer term goal just don’t set out thinking that you’re going to completely change your body in 4 weeks of intense exercise.
[This picture reminds me of when I went to stay with friends in Tunisia. We went to this place where water heated naturally under the ground came streaming out down a cliff into the sea where we were sat waiting.... very refreshing!]
The human body has evolved over many thousands of years. It has had to cope with times of both feast and famine, changing foods and a range of hostile environments. If the body had adapted to put on muscle really really fast it would have meant the chances of survival in some conditions would have been impossible.
With all that said it is still perfectly feasible to train in such a way that your body will put on muscle at an optimal rate. Rusty Moore created the Visual Impact Muscle Building course for just that purpose. Take a look at one of his videos below:
